Windy on Meltemy day
Small, secluded and lovely sandy beach located at the end of Agios Ioannis, a walk from the small white chapel and fishermen’s jetty. You can enjoy the sunrays all day till sunset. Simple natural pleasure, no beach chairs or umbrellas; known to the few, a perfect spot for late afternoon romance, or a peaceful early morning swim.
Kapari beach is one of the west island beaches, close to Agios Ioannis beach, reachable by car, motorbike or a short walk from Agios Ioannis Chapel. During the high season, the little street which takes to the area can be very crowded so we recommend to reach it by walk. The Beach is small and secluded, with clear sand, crystal waters and on both edges framed by rocks. Quiteness is one of the top features together with a good level of privacy and a nice view view overlooking Delos and Rhenia, which makes this beach one of unmissable places to visit on the island. We suggest to avoid this beach during Meltemi days but its sheltered position allows anyway a good level of protection from light windy days.
