Little Venice District

The district of Venètia, which is the row of three floors seaside houses facing the sea, connects seamlessly to Kàstro. They were built in 17th-18th century directly on the sea and contribute much to the appeal of the town. Colorful wooden balconies hovering over the water and little front doors on the ground floor leading to the warehouses where the goods and the treasure of piracy actions were unloaded directly from the boats. This seafront village is definitely the most romantic place of Mykonos town. (photo credits: Karl Chester)
