The magic hour of sunset at Little Venice

One of the symbolic places of mykonos island is Little Venice, the discrict so named because of the houses built with their balconies along the water, reminding of those of Venice.

Little Venice is located in the center of town and consists of traditional multi-colored houses, which belonged to wealthy merchants and captains of the 1700s, giving the impression of floating over the Aegean Sea, creating amazement in the traveler.

The sensational sunset from this district is not to be missed: the waves are tinged with gold crashing on the waterfront, while the sky turns from yellow to red shades.

The narrow streets of Little Venice form a labyrinth, originally designed to confuse pirates who attacked the city. Now they are enriched by art galleries, shops, restaurants and bars.

Enjoy a romantic sunset cocktail overlooking the sea, or savor the typical Greek cuisine with delicious dishes of fresh fish, or end your evening late in one of the trendy clubs. The Greek Little Venice can offer all this.
